Sometimes I would venture further during long weekends or public holiday. But part of the pains was to endure the heavy traffic and huge crowds when it came to popular day trip destination. Case in point - Broga! We decided to head to Sak Dato Temple to pray pray for family, health, wealth and career. Had to park far and walked under scorching hot weather. After lepak-ing for a while, it was time for lunch and they wanted a place with air conditions. Long Hiong Seafood Restaurant was just 1km++ down the road closer to Broga town. Gave them a call just to make sure that they were opened - we arrived in less than 3 minutes. ◾Fish Head Curry served first and honestly the gravy was quite tasty. Just wished that they were more generous with fish head. ◾Steamed Red Snapper - fresh fish steamed perfectly and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. ◾Steamed Chicken with Ginger Paste although generous with minced ginger, lacking the power and intensity of our usual Bentong ginger. ◾Homemade Beancurd braised together with fried fu chuk and broccoli. ◾Vegetable Probably the biggest restaurant in Broga.
