Correction work in PMU can be complex, and every case is different. In many situations, laser tattoo removal is the best option for unwanted pigment. However, not every client wants laser removal, and some prefer a softer corrective approach. When performed correctly, skin-tone camouflage can help soften or neutralize unwanted pigment, making it far less visible while it gradually fades over time with natural skin turnover. This technique must be done very superficially with proper pigment matching and experience, otherwise the results can be unpredictable. @elysian360studio When I first started doing brows I learned the compact/solid outline and it took me many months of practice to get really good at it. Eventually I started experimenting with other outline styles and pixelated/shaded outline became my favorite! To achieve a beautiful pixelated outline: 1. Always have a firm/taut stretch so the needle doesn’t tug on the skin 2. Pick a very small amount of pigment to avoid ink spillage and visibility issues 3. Keep the needle hang short, around 1.5 to 2mm, for better control and stability. Adjust the length based on skin thickness, voltage, and stroke length (this is really important) there’s no universal “right” needle hang it depends on a lot of factors! 4. Mimic the shading motion! Needle starts in the air, lands softly on the skin and left off the skin 5. For pixelated outline, I overlap anywhere from 60-90% if I’m going for a shaper more defined outline I’ll overlap 90%. If I’m going for powdery borderless effect I overlap around 60% and flick more! 6. The shorter the sections, and the more you overlap the more intense the outline will come out 7. Keep wiping your sections as you go so you don’t lose your outline, I use a damp q-tip with Cetaphil cleanser to wipe the outline. 8. Ensure that you feel the vibration at your fingertips while outlining. If there is no vibration, it means the needle did not penetrate the skin, resulting in no outline even if you see ink coming out of your cartridge 9. Start with a test spot by outlining a small section to find your ideal pressure. Adjust it slightly depending on the area of the brow you are working on. 10. Allow the ink to oxidize. Outline a small section and wipe it with a damp q-tip. Wait a few seconds to see if the ink oxidizes and the outline becomes visible. If not, slow down your hand speed, overlap more, or adjust your pressure. In extreme cases, such as extremely textured thick skin, you may need to use a longer stroke machine. 3 Tips for Mapping out thin brows: 📌save 1. Repositioning my string -I am always shifting and repositioning the string, trying out different placements to see what would look best around the curvatures of the face structure . It is not uncommon for me to lay a line and then needing to adjust it later, so I will erase and reline 2. Breaking down each line into sections- that one line that reaches that point to the other point? I can break it down into three sections and make three movements on the same line. 3. Never go too thick too quick- most likely your client is used to having thin Brows and drawing  them in on the  thinner side.
