Did you know how cracks on flat roofs get sealed for the long run? 🏠🛠️ First, the crack in the roof surface is cleaned and dried so no dust or loose bits are left. Then liquid roof glue, for example polyurethane, is poured or brushed along the crack in several spots. With a paint roller, the glue is spread into a thin even layer over the damaged area. Next, a strip of fiberglass fabric is laid into the wet glue and pressed down so it is fully soaked. On top of this, another layer of glue is rolled on.
