Topuria has fought against some great grapplers too like Volk of course and Ryan Hall. Although, Ryan Hall has only officially scored 1 takedown in every fight in the promotion, even in his one finish against BJ Penn where he secured the heel hook. His first fight in the promotion was against Tyler Diamond who was his teammate that was also a semi-finalist in the bracket. He beat Diamond via majority decision. Bryce Mitchell has had kind of an awesome career not that he's beat super tough competition, but he just has been a dominant fighter with his grappling skills. He has 5 wins over his pro career via RNC and 2 wins via Triangle Choke. He also has wins over Dan Ige, Edson Barboza, and Andre Fili who are all animals which to me raises his stock a ton. Anyways the twister is such a fun submission to watch people set up because you can see them so clearly go through the steps of securing it. I'm forgetting of the top of my head what other fighters have attempted or gotten close to getting a twister but of course there have only been three in the history of the promotion. The first being Chan Sung Jung or the Korean Zombie, Bryce Mitchell, and then Da'Mon Blackshear. And then of course it is seemingly one of the most painful looking submissions that are in the pool of submissions that have been used in the promotion.
