📍 Bulgogi House, Kota Damansara Haven’t visited their KD branch before but have tried their Sri Petaling one a couple of times. Still one of my preferred choices for Korean bbq buffet 😍 For the price and menu, I feel it’s value for money. You can choose between two options - Happy Refill or Super Refill. Both sets come with refillable bbq meat (chicken & pork), banchan (side dishes) bar, Korean tea and ice cream (one scoop per pax). The difference is that Super Refill comes with: ✔️Hotpot (instead of a jiggae) ✔️Sliced Meat ✔️Noodles Everything is refillable and one of the differences between this place with other k-bbq buffets is that you don’t have to bbq the meat yourself, there are ‘order sticks’ on each table and you’ll just need to put the sticks of whatever you wanna order into a basket and they’ll make it for you. I quite like it this way cos then I can focus on my food and the fellowship rather than on bbq-ing the meat 👍 We arrived early, bout 30mins after they opened so everything at the bar was really fresh 😋 The Sri Petaling branch is smaller and can’t house as many people as the KD branch and I personally feel it’s much easier finding parking in KD cos it’s located somewhat away from the busy streets 😆 . . #foodiesinternationalchat

Dae Sam Sik Dang in Hartamas [Non-halal] Dae Sam Sik Dang in Desa Sri Hartamas specialises in Naeng Dong Samgyeopsal - unseasoned pork belly grilled on a hot plate, served with a variety of banchan. We didn't had high expectations for this restaurant, and were pleasantly surprised by the end of the meal. The banchan (side dishes) here are some of the tastiest and top-quality we've tasted in KL. The banchan are served in a huge metal trap not unlike the dulang used in traditional Malay and Nyonya cuisine. Standouts among the side dishes include the kimchi (very balanced and crunchy), steamed egg, glass noodles (nutty and earthy), and beansprouts (fat and juicy). Dae Sam Sik Dang only use Korean female pork that are slaughtered and flash frozen immediately, before they are exported to Malaysia. And we can taste the difference. The pork belly are cooked on a hot plate and seasoned simply with only pepper. The pork was sweet and tender on its own, and was best enjoyed with just salt or garlic oil.
