One of my clients was refused services in most nail salons because apparently her thumb nails were too wide and they did not have nail tips according to her size. She thought she would never be able to get her nails done but that was not the case. We measured her nail tips, applied them with a technique that covered the tips and then blended that with her nail using an e file and then rubber base gel. ⠀ 손을 사용하다 보면 항상 찢어지고 갈라져서 올라오는 손톱 날개🪽 손톱 사이드 날개/거스러미 왜 자꾸 생길까요? 바로 c커브를 유지할 수 있는 사이드 힘이 소실되었기 때문! 사이드 힘 소실에는 다양한 원인이 있는데, 그 중 대표적인 몇 가지는 ⠀① 사이드 깊게 파고드는 쉐입 ⠀② 거친 표면 정리로 인한 손톱 손상 ⠀③ 잘못된 드릴 사용 ⠀④ 사이드까지 젤을 감싸지 않는 습관 ⠀⑤ 습관에 의한 스트레스포인트 소실 ⠀⑥ 피부 자극으로 인해 굳은살이 올라온 경우 잘못된 습관들이 복합적으로 더해지면서 손톱이 손가락을 보호하는 역할을 제대로 하지 못하고, 되려 자극받은 피부로부터 손톱이 밀려나기 시작해요. 손톱의 사이드 부분은 본래 커브와 반대로 들리고 꺾이며 접히게 되구요. 이렇게 들리고 접힌 손톱은 종이의 절취선과 비슷해요. 손톱의 세로결을 따라 찢어지기 쉬운 형태가 될 것이고, 한 번 뒤집어진 손톱은 쉽게 제자리로 돌아오지 못하고 타고 올라가면서 찢어지는 범위를 넓히게 돼요. 그렇게 깊이 파고든 사이드는 또 다른 변형을 만들어내죠. 이럴 땐 교정을 통해서 커브를 제자리로 돌려주고 고정시켜 길러주면서 잘 붙어나오도록 하는 게 가장 좋은 방법인데, 심한 케이스가 아니고, 굳이 교정을 원하지 않으시는 고객님이라면 젤만으로 할 수 있는 약간의 꼼수가 있어요. It can cause discoloration and swelling around the nail depending on wear the trauma was . In this case , the trauma was inflicted towards the base of her nail which is why the eponychium and nail folds are a bit swollen . • • • My client expressed to me that a few weeks to almost a month ago she had a drunken night and injured her nail 🫠 .
