India is called the country of diversity because it is socially, politically, culturally, economically, demographically and geographically highly diverse and peculiar. Socially it is diverse because of formation of Indian societies with various types of religions like (Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Jainism, Sikhism, buddhism e. t. C), professions, ethnicities and communities. Politically being it's diversity caused by classification of government in the form of federalism with various hierarchy's like union government, state government and local government like (municipal corporation & panchayati raj institutions). It is also called countries of geographical diversity because of it's diverse geographical structures like location of mountain like Himalaya in the north- west to North -East, vindhyachal in the western regions , western ghat in the south- West part and eastern ghat in the eastern part of the countries. Obviously location of two islands like andaman & Nicobar in the Bay of Bengal and lakshdeweep islands in arabian sea , Thar desert in the north West regions like Rajasthan & gujarat , peninsular plateaus in the southern part of India and extension of plains in the northern part of India including peculiar climatic distribution across the parts of countries define it the best example of geographical diversity. Culturally being diverse of India caused by prevailing of different types of religions, culture, clothing, dressing, festivities, entertainment, professions, foods n beverages, languages and traditions in my country. India can also be said the country of economic diversity because here people from all economic backgrounds like socialistic, capitalist and communistic are available here.
