I thought it would be fun to do a segment on “banned toys” from back in the day. Here was have the “Cabbage Patch Snacktime Kid.” A doll that would eat plastic French fries and other foods and crap them out into their backpack. 🤣 The problem was, the dolls didn’t discriminate between food, fingers, or hair. While the doll didn’t actually eat the hair and fingers, they would get stuck and many times the results were painful. In at least one case, the doll pulled a child’s hair out from the root. Mattel banned and discontinued the doll in 1997 after about 100 incidences.
