Caffs Annual Staff Party was a time! We all wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

How can caffs survive? Owner, customers, commentators, and the wider community all agree on their importance and what makes them special. Clue: it’s not really about the food. So what can we all do to preserve what we love without turning them into museum? It isn’t about franchising, instaporn, rose-tinted copy or visiting transactionally. It’s about sincerely being a part of community, going to your local and helping it thrive. Regency Cafe isn’t my local, and sadly living where I do there simply isn’t one. So i’ve already lost what we are all in danger of losing. I hope we can all come together, share what we love, and preserve the caff tradition for the next generation. There are a lot of coffee roasters out there. This is what sets us apart from the others... * WE ARE DECAF FOCUSED With 9 different single origin coffees + a dark roast blend +;whiskey barrel aged + 2 half-caffs means you have choices! * ALL OUR DECAFS ARE SWISS WATER PROCESS This method (done by @swisswater in Vancouver, British Columbia) is the only one that is 100% chemical free + 99.9% caffeine free + 3rd party tested for mold and certified mold free. * WE USE A FLUID BED ROASTER Most roasters use a drum roaster which is iconic, but with air roasting we don't have the conduction heat factor (heat from the drum) to mess with the more temperamental decaf beans and burn them. * WE ROAST TO MEDIUM With the exception of our blend and whiskey barrel aged coffees, all our single origins are roasted to medium. We bring the beans to first crack and maybe a few seconds beyond and then drop them into the cooling tray. This gives you the broadest spectrum of flavors to enjoy. * WE PRIORITIZE ethically sourced (fair wages for the farmers) and sustainably farmed (it might not be certified organic, but they use the same principles and practices) coffees. It's always been our goal to change the narrative on decaf. Choices with fantastic flavor that don't leave you wanting or disappointed.
