This is more than just a building. It’s where donations become warm beds for children who’ve been sleeping on floors. Where volunteers pack not just boxes, but compassion and dignity. Where survivors hear, maybe for the first time, “You’re not alone. We’re here for you.” And now, we’re calling on you to join us — because recovery takes a village, and every village needs its heartbeat. Here’s what we need to keep that heartbeat strong: MUSCLE – Volunteers and hands willing to help and serve. FUNDING – To keep trucks moving, shelves stocked, and doors open. They took the opportunity to show off some equipment, the well-trained firefighters who use it, and the programs that help agencies coordinate their response to fires.

New tsunami hazard zone and evacuation route signs are rolling out in coastal communities across Ventura County. These signs help people quickly recognize when they are in a tsunami hazard area and where to go to reach higher ground.   Remember to the warning signs of a tsunami: • A strong or long local earthquake • The ocean suddenly receding from the shoreline • A loud roar coming from the ocean   If you notice any of these signs, don’t wait for an official alert. Move to higher ground immediately!
