Honestly… you either want it or you don’t. You’ll do the research, put in the work, and make the time.✍🏼 People are always surprised when they find out I trained my Corso myself. Usually the response is: “Mine doesn’t listen,” “They’re not motivated,” or “My dog is reactive.” But when I ask what they’ve tried or what research they’ve done… 7 times out of 10 the answer is nothing. They just got a dog, allowed unwanted behaviors, never properly corrected, and did zero training. The good news? There’s always room to turn it around. Find a reputable trainer who will train you and your dog, or start doing the research yourself and put in the work. It doesn’t take hours every day — even 10–15 minutes of consistent training makes a difference. This doesn’t happen overnight. There’s a lot that goes into building a solid dog.
