This was a difficult one because overall this is a nice farm shop to visit. If you go, you will have a great day out! It’s in a really convenient location if you’re travelling, parking is easy, it’s accessible and there’s a good play park for kids 🍓 But I’m looking for the BEST places to go in Scotland - farm shops that feel unique, or give a bit of a wow factor. I just personally felt Castleton Farm was lacking in a couple areas that would put it in the ‘best’ category for me 🍓 HOWEVER if you’re looking for some of the best berries in Scotland, you’re in the right place 😜 I definitely think product is where Castleton Farm stands out. Their blackberry chutney we bought was also tasty. This is totally my own opinion based on the experience we had that day. The reviews are excellent on Google and I’m sure many people here will love this spot!! I’d love to try it again in summer and see if there feels more atmosphere.
