Which transit routes get funded. Which communities get newcomer services, settlement programs, language support. All based on who got counted. Undercounted communities get underfunded. For 5 years. Until the next census in 2031. For immigrants this is especially important. This data captures where we live, how many of us there are, what we need. Got our 2026 census letter in the mail today. Participation is mandatory by law and there can be fines for refusing to complete it or knowingly giving false information. अब घर बैठे होगी जनगणना, जानिए कैसे सिर्फ मोबाइल से पूरी होगी आपकी जिम्मेदारी! मेरा हक न्यूज़ में आपका स्वागत है। अब देश की जनगणना प्रक्रिया और भी आसान और डिजिटल हो गई है। जनगणना 2027 के तहत पहली बार आम नागरिकों को स्वयं अपनी जानकारी दर्ज करने की सुविधा दी जा रही है, जिसे स्व-गणना यानी सेल्फ एन्यूमरेशन कहा जा रहा है। यह प्रक्रिया 10 अप्रैल से 24 अप्रैल 2026 तक चलेगी, जिसमें लोग अपने मोबाइल या कंप्यूटर के जरिए आधिकारिक पोर्टल पर जाकर अपनी और अपने परिवार की पूरी जानकारी खुद भर सकेंगे। इस नई व्यवस्था का मुख्य उद्देश्य लोगों का समय बचाना, सटीक जानकारी प्राप्त करना और डेटा प्रोसेसिंग को तेज बनाना है। इसके लिए सबसे पहले आपको आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर जाना होगा, जहां अपने मोबाइल नंबर के माध्यम से ओटीपी लेकर लॉगिन करना होगा। इसके बाद आप अपने राज्य, जिला और स्थानीय क्षेत्र का चयन करेंगे और डिजिटल मैप पर अपने घर का सही स्थान चिन्हित करेंगे। इसके बाद आपको अपने परिवार और मकान से जुड़ी जरूरी जानकारी भरनी होगी। सारी जानकारी भरने के बाद आपको एक विशेष आईडी यानी एसई आईडी प्राप्त होगी, जिसे सुरक्षित रखना जरूरी है। जब सरकारी गणनाकर्मी आपके घर आएंगे, तो आप उन्हें यही आईडी दिखाकर अपनी जानकारी की पुष्टि कर सकते हैं। सरकार ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया है कि यदि कोई व्यक्ति स्वयं गणना नहीं कर पाता है, तो निर्धारित समय में गणनाकर्मी उसके घर आकर जानकारी दर्ज करेंगे। साथ ही, सभी जानकारी पूरी तरह सुरक्षित और गोपनीय रखी जाएगी। तो आइए, इस बार अपनी जिम्मेदारी निभाएं और जनगणना में भाग लेकर देश के विकास में अपनी अहम भूमिका निभाएं। याद रखें, मेरी गणना ही देश की ताकत है।
