Drinking isn’t the same anymore, I am waking up in critical condition 😭 @keramostudio is a great alternative to dinner dates. It’s an interactive experience in pottery making that is perfect if you’ve never done it before. I’ve always wanted to take a pottery class and their One Time Wheel Throwing Class exceeded my expectations. Iryna, our instructor, did an amazing job of walking us through various techniques to create multiple pieces. We had it figured out after a few tries. The class lasts 1 hr 30 mins and is a very intimate setting. The class allows you to make unlimited pieces in the time frame and you get to pick 2 at the end. The pieces are then trimmed and glazed and are available for pickup in 3 weeks. I recommend trying this out at some point if you want to switch to date nights. If you decide to visit don’t forget to let them know who sent you. ❤️

Me 5 minutes into ceramics…. shaping bubbles on a tumbler. I sat down at the wheel planning a simple tumbler and eventually started pushing the clay into a bubble shape instead. This is what happens when I stop overthinking. Wheel-thrown stoneware, shaped by hand into a textured tumbler that feels different from every angle. No two come out exactly the same, which is exactly why I keep coming back to this process. back in february i took a beginner pottery class and these are all the things i made 🍓💙🎀🍎 it was very out of my comfort zone but was such a fun experience! after i finished the class i decided to get a studio pass to work on other things that i wanted to try to make such as paint palettes and some charms (which i’ll share here at some point) a lot of the things i made didn’t come out how i envisioned but that’s okay – pottery has taught me to enjoy the process of making and not to focus too much on the final result #pottery #ceramics #beginnerpottery
