Another unit that was already “professionally cleaned.” Let me tell you: it wasn’t clean before I got to work ❌ 
Honestly, it was pretty disgusting to see someone charged for this level of work. Most “cleans” never touch the fan, the coil, or the air-intake pathways. Not because companies don’t care but because they don’t know, or don’t take the time to fully disassemble the unit and clean it properly. There is no spray-and-pray with air conditioners or heaters or any such units. 🦠 
The only safe approach is removal — removal of all contaminants. Only after that can you apply a protectant like ACX. No masking. No shortcuts. Removal first, then ACX to reduce fungal hyphae and slow regrowth. If you’re reacting at home and can’t figure out why, this is often the missing piece. Your units might look clean… but it could be blowing straight through hidden buildup.
