My best advice for attracting new clients & retaining them- give them a bomb EXPERIENCE. You may be fantastic at getting results, your facial may be great, but if you’re not making your client feel comfortable from the moment they walk into the door to the moment they leave- you’re losing them. Here are some tips to improve the client experience: BOOKING Make how to book with you crystal clear. If your booking site & website have to be separate (mine do at the moment) then make it clear on your website how to book. Insert a link that’ll take them to your booking site! I’ve personally tried booking appointments for services and if the booking process looks too complicated, I move on. Attention spans are short these days, make it easy! GREETING Greet your client when they come in. Make sure you’re running on time in order to do this & block time in between appointments, especially if there’s a new client on the schedule! INSTRUCT I cannot tell you how many times I’ve gone somewhere and they just expect me to know what to do as the client. Lol, if it’s their first time in make sure you’re telling them to change into the spa wrap, take their bra off/ straps down, take their hair down, put head here, get under blanket- etc. don’t just assume they know what to do! EXPLAIN Explain every step of the service. Don’t just throw a spicy enzyme on them and not warn them it’ll be spicy 🤣 If they don’t speak up, they’re laying there panicking something is wrong. This tip can also increase product sales! Lastly, let your client guide the conversation. There’s nothing worse than going to a service wanting to just relax/ take your mind off of life and then the service provider won’t stop talking about their crappy boyfriend. Lol!! Now, if your client clearly wants to talk the whole time- go for it, but try to keep the convo about THEM. 🤍 Some of my clients use me as their therapist, and some just want an hour of silence.
