These changes directly affect food production, water availability, and human health. Crops fail, ecosystems collapse, and millions of people are forced to migrate due to extreme conditions. Biodiversity is disappearing at an alarming rate, weakening the natural systems that keep our planet stable. Human activity—mainly the burning of fossil fuels, deforestation, and overconsumption—is the primary cause. But this also means humans hold the solution. Reducing emissions, protecting nature, changing how we produce and consume, and investing in sustainable alternatives can still limit the damage. The question is no longer if climate change is real.
