A massive congratulations and welcome home to Clodagh, @aquacultural on winning the top prize, World Designer of the Year at the Junk Kouture world finals! 🏆 Clodagh was cheered home to the Concert Hall by students and staff, praised and thanked by Mr Galligan and Ms Byrne, and Clodagh herself thanked the student body for all their support and encouragement. 🙌 Clodagh’s design made from 2000 mussel shells was crowned Junk Kouture World Designer of the Year. Clodagh walked away as the overall winner for her design ‘Aquacultural’, a 32kg organic waste design that champions sustainable food production and gender equality. Aquacultural was one of 60 finalist teams from Ireland, the UK, France, Italy, the USA, and the UAE that presented couture designs made entirely from recycled materials at the EUROSPAR Junk Kouture World Final. This is Clodagh second year to compete in and reach the @junkkouture world finals. A huge thank you to Ms. Byrne for all her hard work and mentorship. @junkkouture #WeAreWilsons

Clodaghs Confirmation. I've been photographing this beautiful family's events for 10 years now and it's been a joy to see them all grow. Their dad Paudie was a friend and my tandem master for my first ever skydive! He would be so proud of the wonderful people they have become and I'm sure is watching down for above, bursting with pride. I'll be back with them again in just 6 weeks for Fionns communion ♥️
