Clone Robotics is developing what it calls a true clone, a fully synthetic human that's physically and behaviorally indistinguishable from a real person. Clone co-founder Dhanush Radhakrishnan offered an update for the Polish-American startup's rollout plans during a fireside chat with futurist Peter Diamandis. He said Clone plans to reveal a fully functional upper body , with the precision and control of a surgeon by the end of 2026. The team of about 70 aims for a full humanoid robot with a natural walking gait in 2027 and first commercial deployments in 2028, initially targeting service and hospitality sectors.
