College is expensive. So if you’re going to take on debt, you better know what you’re buying. Because a “degree” is not a strategy. It’s a receipt. This chart is why I tell parents and students to stop asking the wrong question. Not “What do you want to study?” Ask this instead. “What job does this degree reliably lead to, and what does that job pay in the real world?” Some of these majors can be great. But the math gets ugly when: • You graduate into a weak job market • You need a master’s degree just to be considered • You’re competing for a small number of roles • Your loans don’t care that you “followed your passion” If you’re 18 and you’re borrowing $80,000… you’re making a business decision. So treat it like one. Pick the outcome first. Then pick the degree that gets you there. And if you have no clue what you want to do yet, that’s fine. Just don’t finance confusion at 7% interest.

Unfortunately, I am. There is not a single day that goes by that I wish I didn’t make smarter choices as I went through the motions of going to college. I always think “if I had known…” If I had known that college debt would hold me back from purchasing a house for six years… If I had known that these loans are doubling up because of the crazy interest… If only I had known that 10% of my income was going to go to pay my loans each year… If only I had known… But looking back I went through it all so that one day I could teach others how NOT to do it and avoid the mistakes that I made along the way. This is why I created this guide. Don’t be one of the trillions. Get informed. Comment “guide” and I’ll teach you what no one taught me. #collegementor #trialreels #collegedebt

Nobody talks about debt on college tours. They show you the fancy dining hall and the climbing wall and the study abroad programs. They don’t show you what your kid’s life looks like at 38 when they’re still paying off the climbing wall. Most colleges are not worth the sticker price. The education is fine. But it’s not worth 20 years of debt payments. Your kid can get a great education for $15,000 a year or less at a hundred different schools. They can graduate at 22 and start their life ahead. Buy a car. Rent an apartment. Save money. Build wealth. Or they can graduate at 22 and send $1,200 a month to a loan company until they’re 42. You get to choose. Right now. Before you sign anything. Choose the life your kid gets to live. Not the bumper sticker on your car. Save this if you need permission to say no to an expensive school. #college #financialaid #scholarships #collegebound

78% of students don’t believe college is worth the debt. Let that sink in. Only 22% see real ROI. Only 30% work in the field they studied. That’s not a “student problem.” That’s a system problem. Students are doing everything “right”: → Taking loans → Picking majors → Following guidance counselors → Trusting the process And still ending up: → Underemployed → Mismatched → Buried in debt → Starting from zero The promise was simple: Degree = career. That promise is broken. Smart students are no longer buying promises. They’re demanding proof. And that changes everything.

Starting salaries for college grads have dropped 24% since 2021, and only 1 in 5 are landing a job in their field. You did everything “right.” Got the degree. Put in the work. And the reward? A paycheck that buys less than it did six years ago. It’s only a “dream college” until you realize you can’t afford it or the college wasn’t the right fit for you… That’s what you have to consider when you think of your “dream college.” When it comes to college you have to be realistic. Ask yourself this: 1. What’s the total cost of the degree? 2. What’s the ROI of the program? 3. Is the school properly accredited? If you answered “ I don’t know” then you reallly need to get it together and figure this out before you make a costly mistake. A costly mistake can cause families thousands in college debt. That’s where I come in. I have over ten years in higher education experience and I have broken it down for you and put it into one guide so families can make informed decisions before getting into crazy amounts of debt. Everything you need to know is broken down in my No BS College Roadmap and I’ll guide you through it all. Comment “roadmap” and let me help you figure out if that “dream college” Is actually worth the hype. #debtfreecollege #dreamcollege #trialreels
