Color Grading 101 Tips 👇 Comment Film to get my free filmic fade LUT Something you never really see online when people talk color grading is 📢 Your color grade starts before you even press record. ✅ It’s important to remember that good color grading is there to ENHANCE, not to rescue. ✅ Decide your palette before hand. When I go out to shoot, I’m thoughtful about the wardrobe I’m wearing in relation to the environment that I’m going to be in. In this shot here, I knew we’d be around browns and greens, so I purposefully chose a reddish orange jacket so that I would contrast against the back ground. ✅ Having color harmony from the beginning by what you decide to have in your frame will go further in your color grade than any amount of knowledge and time in Davinci resolve. Thoughful Shoot Prep = A Stronger Color Grade And if you wanna learn to shoot like I do, check out short form filmmaker in the link in my Bio. I give you my exact system!

Try this easy ahh color grading method 🤔📝 Some tips and disclaimer : • The results is far from perfect but with the further minor tweaks, it should be somewhat acceptable (sort of…) • It’s a good practice to match up the your scene to the reference you took. for example, if your clip is cold (raining, cloudy) the reference should follow the same setup • Record format also important, try to stick with same format as your clio. if your clip was shot on phone, the reference should also be shot and edit on phone. same goes for camera, drone, etc.. • When taking screenshots, make sure you crop it nicely and then bring to capcut so it is pure color without no black borders, etc. Try this edit and lemme know wassup 🗣️ #shotoniphone #fyp #capcut #tutorial #howto

ep.4 of creative crises // intro to color grading 👩🏻💻🪽 (for beginners, from a beginner) so daunting to film an educational video abt something i’m still learning! but i’m so grateful i started sharing my color grading progress— so instead of figuring it out alone, we can learn together :”) #colorgrading #contentcreation #creativecrises

ULTIMATE COLOR GRADING WITH CAPCUT 🔥⬇️ . . have you ever try to combine these filters? yap! actually this is my first time, this one is really recommended for city ambience video, this one will give you an instant futuristic look! but using 1 filter for all isn’t my thing, i have to get more flexibility during the color grading, and i combined it with 2 of my favorite filters. And here are some tips: If you’re still questioning how to add 2 or more filters into 1 clip using @capcutapp , let me explain. 1. If you’re using CapCut mobile, click at your video then duplicate, then click one of the video then look for overlay, then click overlay 2. After you click overlay, make sure you have 2 clips at the same length of time. after that, click Mask, then select the area from the clip that you want to differentiate. 3. Now you have 2 exact same video with double layer, then you can put different filters or color settings. But please, note that those adjustments (brightness, contrast etc.) are not the same on every clips! you need to match the lighting & color tone on your video. here’s some tips to improve your editing skills, especially in terms of color grading : - use masking tool to make some different ambiences in selected areas, you can also add more filters or LUT to your selective area using masking tool. this is how i put 2 different filters into 1 video. - use HSL to change some selective colors, i strengthen the green colors & apply more lights on the skin tone. - and the last one, if you didn’t like my adjustment, you still able to change its mood using curves & color wheel to increase or decrease the RGB’s atmospheres as you like. thank me later 😉 SAVE THIS VIDEO IF YOU LIKE 👍 #capcut #capcutedit #capcuttutorial #capcuttemplate #capcuteditor #cinematic #cinematiclook #cinematicmodeon #shotoniphone #videography #videogram #videoedits #videotips #editing #editingtips #editingtutorial #fyp #tutorial #colorgrading #colorcorrection #gameoftones #agameoftones #mobilevideography #tipsandtricks #darkaesthetic #cityvibes #citylights #cityviews
