I totally forgot about this trick until recently - and wow, it reminded me why I love it. For this guest, I grabbed High Lift Pearl to boost out some extra pigment that was hanging on tight. COLOR CORRECTION SCARIES 🤯 This is the part where everything looks so wrong and so right all at once 😂 I was thrilled her hair even budged in some areas because she had black built up, so I knew once I saw that orange this was going in a great direction! I formulated her with Redken 6NCH + 6N + 5NW Roots: 20 vol Mids: 10 vol Ends: 30 vol Gloss: 6NCH + 5N Why? Because her hair was not an even canvas, so putting one color over the entire head would’ve looked blotchy & uneven.
