Comcast RISE is supporting the growth of small businesses and entrepreneurs committed to uplifting their local communities. The program is built to help businesses and their communities thrive with a focus on economic growth. This year, Comcast RISE will award 500 recipients in five cities with a grant package that includes business consultation services, educational resources, a monetary grant, creative production, a media schedule, and a technology makeover. Applications are available online at ComcastRISE.com and the deadline to apply is May 31, 2025.

The Comcast RISE Program selected Host of Sparrows Aerial Circus in 2024 as one of their five hundred total small-business recipients of a year-long grant package that includes: • 12-month online access to business-related educational resources • Opportunities for mentorship with business consultants • A $5,000 monetary grant • 12-month access to Internet • Computer equipment • This thirty-second television commercial! Created in 2020 with the original purpose of supporting small businesses negatively impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic, Comcast RISE continues its commitment to financially supporting small businesses to-date, promoting the communities surrounding the companies by extension. Host of Sparrows more efficiently pursued its main mission—expanding the impact of aerial circus arts throughout the city of Richmond and beyond—this past year, thanks to the support from Comcast RISE.
