Here's a few tips that helped me streamline my comic making process. 1. Keep a Notes app/notebook 📒 I don't know about you guys but I get ideas for artwork/my comics at the most inconvenient times. My best ideas always come when I'm away from my desk. Keeping notes on my phone has really helped me work on my story wherever I am. It's been a great tool to jot down story beats, dialogue, jokes, and other ideas that I can take right into my comic. 2. Become familiar with your medium🖍️ Making comics already takes a lot of decision-making and time so the last thing you want to be doing is fiddling around with something new. Don't get me wrong trying new things as an artist is one of my favourite things to do but when it comes to getting your project off of the ground it really helps to know your medium well. Knowing my workflow in Clip Studio really helped me streamline my creation process which allowed me to pump out pages at a faster pace. If you're trying a new medium/software don't be afraid to experiment with it before you get started, it might help you out in the long run. 3. Plan ‼️ Now I might be contradicting myself with this one as I do tend to improvise a lot while I write but I do genuinely believe that having somewhat of a rough plan in place will help you out tremendously. Storyboarding, playing with layouts, and writing out scripts/ideas are all very helpful tools when it comes to storytelling. All of these things can help you plan "the page turn" for suspense, adhere to a page count, and vary your shot/panel types. Creating a narrative with a plan is a lot easier than constructing one out of thin air. Excited to share my next story with you all soon. Have a great day. - - - #makingcomics #comics #art

Quick rundown of what I’ve been up to the past 3 months! This is the first time I am doing a Webtoon, so it will probably be far from perfect. But hey— I am here to learn!🫡😞 I am aiming to do 4 seasons with 5 episodes each!! (I’ll split the episodes on Webtoon though, since they are are rather long) For the release: I was originally aiming for March, but with that big of a workload and college starting again, I have no other choice than to postpone it to April!
