Queste persone che soltanto vanno dietro una parola, ma senza Gesù Cristo: una parola cristiana pure, ma senza Gesù Cristo, senza il rapporto con Gesù Cristo, senza la preghiera con Gesù Cristo, senza il servizio a Gesù Cristo, senza l’amore a Gesù Cristo. Questo è quello che il Signore oggi ci dice: di costruire la nostra vita su questa roccia e la roccia è Lui. […] Con questa umiltà di essere discepoli salvati e di andare avanti non con parole che, per credersi potenti, finiscono nella pazzia della vanità, nella pazzia dell’orgoglio.
