For our Associate Conservator, Tam Laovichaya, it extends far beyond repair—caring for the entire environment, from air and temperature to even the smallest particles of dust. In preparing our current exhibition, this included the meticulous hand-making of a dry mount for Sho Shibuya’s work under tight timelines, developed in close collaboration with the artist to match the precision of a machine-made finish.
