Pomodorini confit sott’olio ♥️ Una conserva facilissima da preparare, che ci consentirà di non dire addio tra pochissimo ai nostri amati pomodorini 😍 🍅 Li cuociamo in forno statico a 200C per 30-40 minuti con sale, olio e zucchero: quando inizieranno a dorarsi, possiamo toglierli dal calore. 🍅 li mettiamo quindi in un barattolo sterilizzato, insieme alle nostre erbe preferite (meglio se essiccate): io ho usato l’origano. Se volete, potete aggiungere qualche spicchio d’aglio (avremmo anche potuto metterlo in cottura, volendo, ma ci ho pensato dopo 😅) per dare l’aroma! 🍅 ricoprite con olio extravergine, assicuratevi che non ci siano bolle d’aria e che tutti i pomodorini siano al di sotto della superficie. 🍅 chiudete con il coperchio e conservate in frigorifero fino a 30 giorni. Se volete far durare di più i pomodorini, sterilizzate i barattoli lasciandoli completamente immersi in acqua bollente per almeno 30 minuti, per poi lasciarli asciugare a testa in giù creando il sottovuoto. Don't miss the end! ♥️ By 6:30 pm last evening our teams started receiving panic calls from Mumbai's Mulund West. A juvenile hanuman langur was trapped inside a resident's safety grill attached to the window. The neighbours and others gathered as the langur baby cried for help, making loud calls to the mother. The resident owner of the flat was away to meet a relative and the doors were locked. There was no route for our teams to enter. The lactating mother made multiple efforts before we reached the spot to free the baby and even later as our teams were assessing the situation, but could not access the baby. When resident arrived, we could access the window to secure the juvenile to safety. Luckily, the juvenile out of fear of being approached by our teams, managed to free itself without any injuries and jumped onto the tree where the parent was waiting for the baby. After securing the juvenile, the mother paused for a moment, took a quick bite as she was without any food for several hours and under stress to rescue the baby. After few moments, they made their journey back into the wild, their home, fringes of the National park. One may then think, how is it possible? That is Mumbai for us. Where animals coexist with us. Yes, sometimes we get affected by their presence and sometimes they do. But in most cases, it's an unspoken acknowledgement of each other's presence. Feels good to be part of the reunion. Today we celebrate World Lion Day 🦁 This day is of high importance for us at Wild at Life, because it was the reason our NGO was founded. We have rescued countless of lions in distress, from canned hunting, from war thorn areas, conflict zone, abuse and hunger, neglect and torture, from places such as Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Syria, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Yemen and Zambia. Each stories needs to be told, each lion needs to be remembered. But what is vital, is that the King of the Jungle is in peril and the population in the wild has decreased tremendously.
