Can I be honest? 🫣 These are things I struggled with as a younger wife. This is one of the reasons why it is so important that older women in the church come along side younger ones “and train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled” ‭‭(Titus‬ ‭2‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭ESV‬‬). Yes, when we treat our husbands with contempt and disrespect, we revile God’s word. That speaks to what our hearts are like. OUCH. 🤕 Thank God he sanctifies us day in and day out! The Lord in his kindness as not left is to figure out how to be godly on our own. He gave us his word and the fellowship of other Christian to learn from. I hope to encourage you to find an older couple in your church and spend some time with them and learn from them. For the single woman, I encourage you to do the same! Learn from the wisdom of older women. God gave us such a lovely gift in that.
