No dreary weather could dampen the joy of being behind the wheel of something so comfortable, cosy, elegant, ergonomic, and powerful — and all fully electric. I tried to find any excuse to get back into that beauty, just to spend a bit more time together. Exactly as someone in love would do. I can love many things, and often do, but I never imagined a car would be one of them. I only wish Latvia had motorways that allowed me to experience the full dynamics and speed of this car. Now she’s back at her home, but for five days she was my best companion, helping me transport products and everything else I needed for my three-day cooking weekend. آئی جی سندھ جاوید عالم اوڈھو سے انسانی حقوق کمیشن پاکستان (HRCP) کے چیئرپرسن اسد اقبال بٹ نے وفد کے ہمراہ سینٹرل پولیس آفس کراچی میں ملاقات کی۔ ملاقات میں ڈی آئی جی ہیڈکواٹرز،اے آئی جی جینڈربیسڈوائلنس اینڈہیومن رائٹس، ہیومن رائٹس کمیشن آف پاکستان کے وائس چیئرپرسن سندھ قاضی خضر، کونسل ممبر سندھ سہیل سانگی، کونسل ممبر سعدیہ بلوچ اور ریجنل کوآرڈینیٹر سندھ ندا تنویر بھی موجود تھیں۔ ملاقات کے دوران صوبہ سندھ میں امن و امان کی مجموعی صورتحال، انسانی حقوق کے تحفظ، قانون کی حکمرانی، پولیس اور عوام کے درمیان اعتماد کے فروغ اور باہمی تعاون کے مختلف امور پر تفصیلی تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا۔ وفد نے صوبے میں امن و امان کے قیام اور انسانی حقوق کے تحفظ کے لیے سندھ پولیس کے اقدامات کو سراہتے ہوئے اس امر پر زور دیا کہ ان اقدامات کو مزید مؤثر اور مربوط بنانے کے لیے باہمی تعاون کو فروغ دیا جائے۔ انسانی حقوق، بالخصوص خواتین اور بچوں کے حقوق کے تحفظ، سول سوسائٹی کے ساتھ تعاون اور آزادی اظہارِ رائے کے حوالے سے سندھ پولیس نے دیگر صوبوں کے مقابلے میں نمایاں اور مؤثر اقدامات کیے ہیں۔ وفد سندھ پولیس کے انسانی حقوق کے تحفظ کے لیے کیے جانے والے مثبت اقدامات کو مزید اجاگر کرنے کی ضرورت ہے تاکہ عوامی اعتماد میں اضافہ ہو۔آئی جی سندھ جاویدعالم اوڈھو عمرکوٹ واقعہ پر بروقت ایکشن، میرپورخاص میں میڈیکل طالبہ کے کیس میں فوری پیش رفت اور خیرپور میں غیرت کے نام پر خاتون کے قتل کے واقعے پر مؤثر کارروائی انسانی حقوق کے تحفظ کی عملی مثالیں ہیں۔ آئی جی سندھ پولیسنگ کے نظام میں شفافیت، جوابدہی اور عوامی اعتماد کے فروغ کے لیے ہیومن رائٹس کمیشن جیسے اداروں کے ساتھ تعاون نہایت اہم ہے۔ جاویدعالم اوڈھو انسانی حقوق کی خلاف ورزی سے متعلق موصول ہونے والی شکایات پر نہ صرف فوری کارروائی کی جاتی ہے بلکہ سنجیدہ اور مؤثر قانونی اقدامات کو بھی یقینی بنایا جاتا ہے۔آئی جی سندھ ملاقات کے اختتام پر دونوں اداروں کے مابین مستقل باہمی تعاون، تربیتی سیشنز کے انعقاد اور مؤثر حکمت عملی کی تشکیل کے لیے اشتراک عمل کو مزید فروغ دینے پر اتفاق کیا گیا۔ اختتام پر وفدنے آئی جی سندھ ہیومن رائٹس کمیشن کی جاری کردہ 2024کی رپورٹ بھی پیش کی۔ #IGSindh #JavedAlamOdho #HRCP #HumanRights #SindhPolice #Karachi #LawAndOrder #RuleOfLaw #PublicSafety #WomenRights #ChildProtection #PoliceReforms #CivilSociety #Transparency #Accountability #PakistanPolice #Cooperation #HumanRightsProtection #GoodGovernance
