I am a machine that turns fabric into maomao cosplays ~ ~ Have I finished back to back maomao cosplays a week apart? Yes 🙂‍↕️. Admittedly with this cosplay I only made the shirt as the skirt was purposefully designed to be used across maomao’s garden party look and her regular outfit when I initially made my cosplay of the garden party outfit. Some ways you can use hot glue in your cosplay projects! Have you tried these methods or have others to share? This is a no gatekeeping zone! I'm using cosplay hot glue from @bearlyarts ! While not a direct replacement for contact cement, it certainly has it's uses. It is heat resistant and has quite a strong hold on materials like foam. Of course like any other material hot glue has its pros and cons. But it's always nice to have options. It's the thrifty way! In hot glue we trust 🫡 I don't know why I didn't have any footage of actually making the shapes with the hot glue but you can just make the shapes intuitively. You can also use silicone molds if you have them for specific shapes.
