This is either the best idea ever or the worst idea ever and we’re very soon going to find out which one 😅 This is the last thing before the studio is done!!! It’s so so so cozy in here and staying up into the night painting couches just me and american idol was barely hard because of how special and cozy it is. Six months ago I burned out - but that’s only the end of a larger story… It started two years earlier, when my business nearly collapsed, my 8-year relationship ended and I was sleeping on friends’ couches trying to piece my life back together. For the girl who had to be strong all the time. For the years spent fighting instead of living. For building things that weren’t even aligned… just to stay afloat. Sometimes I look around now at 33 and think, “Did I waste my youth trying to survive something I didn’t even want?” And that’s a heavy thought. But that grief is exactly what fuels me now. Because this time I’m finally building something for myself. That’s why I went all in on this account. ✨ Why I invested in myself. ✨ Why I learned how to tell my story. ✨ Why I built this from zero to almost 6000 followers in less than 2 months. This is the best high end clearance warehouse I’ve been to… by far. Zorora couches for R4000, ritzenhoff glasses for R50. They even have designer pet bowls for R80 😱😱😱 A few brands I recognised were Hertex, Orange Apple, alessi, la z boy and ritzenhoff. They receive new stock every day, literally while I was there two trucks came and offloaded new stuff. 😳 The store is called 📍 House Unboxed. It’s in Irene, Pretoria, right by Irene village mall. 😊 I came back because I need a coffee table and a carpet.
