how i actually stay creative!! 🍃 carry a sketchbook — ideas show up at the weirdest times, so i keep one on me. most of it’s messy, but it helps me not lose the good stuff. 🍃 create art for myself — i find it sooo important to draw things i want to draw, not just things the algorithm wants me to draw. 🍃 read books — other peoples story telling truly inspires me. when i get stuck in my own head, reading helps me out of it. 🍃 scroll pinterest a couple times a week — sometimes it sparks something, sometimes it’s just nice to look at cool things. 🍃 visit galleries — seeing art in real life always reminds me why i care about making stuff in the first place. 🍃 turn off my phone for an hour a day — honestly, my brain feels so much quieter when i do. 🍃 get outside — even if it’s just walking around, getting some air helps reset my head. 🍃 take breaks — although i still feel guilty when im not my full creative self, im learning that taking breaks can actually fuel my creativity. #smallartist #illustrator #berlinillustrator #drawings #berlinartist
