Little me wouldn’t believe what we’ve done. Little me was scared to be alone and would only speak when spoken too and constantly felt unsure if she was “doing it right” and by “it” I mean anything and everything. I still carry those same impulses and worries but I don’t let them call all of the shots. Little me would never have believed we would have a podcast with over 6.5 million listens. Mainly because podcasts didn’t exist but also, because of the whole scared to speak crippling self doubt thing. ♥️ I like this trend and the reminder to treasure “little us”

I watched Jesus take me from the literal pits of hell, and give me a new life. that redemption wasn’t found in anything that I did, achieved, or accomplished… but rather in what I was willing to let go of. I’m here to tell you that deliverance is real. I’m here to tell you that the bondage of sin is real. that there is a war for your soul right now whether you choose to believe that or not. that Jesus is THE way, THE truth, and THE life… that every other counterfeit in this world will crumble when held up to His Name. The real secret to success isn't effort, determination, or talent, it's equivalent exchange. You need to give something to get something. You know what I actually gave for my deadlift? Press. These stunning good looks and charming personality? Crippling self doubt. Over 3 tons of plates in my basement? No dishwasher. It always balances out. Nobody has it all. You see all these strong people online and think "Damn they are so lucky to be so genetically blessed" when you do not see that they are all moderately to severely mentally unwell. Seriously, strong people are all messed up in the head in one way or another. That's the trade off. You're probably also messed up on the head, but you probably got something for it and you just didn't realize. Ever try the bagpipes? I bet it's the bagpipes. You might say "Bagpipes? Really? People are asking me how much Tylenol my mom took and all I got was bagpipes?". Well you just arent creative enough. You can do a lot with bagpipes. No one will even notice how little you are lifting if you do it in a kilt and play the bagpipes while you do it. Hell, get a really big claymore and whip it around and call it training.
