Quick one showing how I matched the profile of the b pillar. After chopping 100mm off the bottom of the guard, the curvature of the guard needs adjusting to suit. I pulled the profile from the b pillar to a cardboard template that I could refer back to whilst shrinking that edge. I didn’t include it in this video but I had to shrink the wheel arch in a little too. Dandelion your denim! This morning, instead of using a soluble design I thought it would be fun to go free hand with this super cute dandelion design! It looks so lovely against the denim, and pretty straight forward as it only uses, whipped back stitch, french knot and straight stitch - and of course a few pearls to finish it off because how could I possibly leave an embroidery alone without any embellishment! I will be bringing fabric pens to my stitch it, wear it workshops so if you feel inspired and want to go a bit off grid you can let your imagination run wild and do your own designs (please do I would LOVE to see them!)
