Makeup has brought me more special moments than I can count. 💖 It can be perceived as superficial, but if I dissect what it has given me, it leaves me speechless. Life can get chaotic, yet somehow, when I’m doing makeup for myself or for others, it puts me into a calm & meditative state. It’s where I feel most in the flow.🧘‍♀️ It’s in these moments, that life’s magic happens. ✨ This year has been Ivy’s first season as a competitive dancer. 🩰 Now onto her fourth competition of the year, I can honestly say the getting ready process, prepping her to get on stage, has brought me the most joy. The hour we spend together is filled with moments of deep connection, laughter, silliness and tremendous joy. 🥲 It takes me back to being a kid and these moments so deeply imprinting and positively effecting me with my mother. 💘🥹 Never forget the power that these little moments in life have in the bigger picture. 1-2-1 STAGE MAKEUP LESSON ❤️ ***❌DISCLAIMER - For those of you that have never experienced a feis/dance competition - this makeup is for stage purposes, hence the foundation not matching the natural skin colour ect. The foundation has to match the legs which usually have false tan on. I can understand here it looks crazy but it all comes together once dancers are in full costume!) Absolutely loved teaching @hannahmahon_1 from @claddaghacademy in preparation for the new feis season.
