Himy David Ical never imagined that a traffic accident would change his life forever. After the crash, he suffered a transtibial amputation of his right leg, facing not only physical pain but also uncertainty about his future. However, hope arrived when he learned about ROMP and the mobile clinic that was coming to Petén, Guatemala, where he received a prosthesis that gave him the opportunity to walk again. Thanks to ROMP’s support, Himy took #FirstStepsFriday toward recovery and rebuilding his life. His determination and the help he received gave him the strength to move forward, looking toward a future full of new opportunities. ——— Himy David Ical, nunca imaginó que un accidente de tránsito cambiaría su vida para siempre. Tras el impacto, sufrió la amputación transtibial de su pierna derecha, enfrentando no solo el dolor físico, sino la incertidumbre sobre su futuro. Sin embargo, la esperanza llegó cuando supo de ROMP y la clínica móvil que llegaría a Petén, Guatemala, donde recibió una prótesis que le dio la oportunidad de caminar de nuevo. Gracias al apoyo de ROMP, Himy dio sus primeros pasos hacia la recuperación y la reconstrucción de su vida, su determinación y el apoyo recibido le dieron la fuerza para seguir adelante, mirando hacia un futuro lleno de nuevas oportunidades.

This weekend I experienced true worship through dance!! Praise is a weapon and PRAISE DANCING is very powerful! There was break through, deliverance, we were cultivated through dance! I’m so proud of the Davidical Dancers of THOKW!!!! Their instructor is amazing, she ministers to them and teaches them how to be respectful young ladies and Women of God!!
