I wanted to share this @tiktok captured by @debsireland here because it shows something that’s much more important than winning awards. Of course I am thrilled for our daughter @romy.devlin who won Best Dressed Debutante 2025 and our friend @deborah_veale who designed and made her stunning dress ❤️ but equally I am so happy with what was captured on the day of the Final, something much more special. Proof there’s no love like a sister 👯♀️ Thank you Emelia for always being your little sisters biggest supporter, wing woman and best friend. Vote for Romy ❤️ Link in Stories🙏🏼 When Romy was 5 years old she asked my friend, Irish Designer Deborah Veale, to make her Communion dress. (Romy wasn’t leaving anything to chance 😂). 3 years later, when Romy was 8, Deborah obliged 👰 Roll on over a decade later and Romy asked Deborah would she make her debs dress. This video shows the amount of work that Deborah and her entire DV Professional team put into Romy’s magnificent dress. Thank you @deborah_veale and all the team at DV Professional; Michael, Ciara, @sorchaveale Gerry, Vera, Slavenia, Linda, Eileen, Dominic and Charlie. This dress literally took a village 🙌🏽 Romy is a very lucky girl ❤️ The icing on the cake is Romy has been selected by @debsireland as one of ten finalists in their “Best Dressed” competition. Part of the prize is a holiday for two to Vegas (she wants to bring her big sis 🥰). She has worked so hard this year to get into the college course she wanted so I would love her to win.
