If the very execution of the gift deed is challenged on grounds of coercion or undue influence, courts do not dismiss such cases at the threshold. These are issues that require evidence and trial. The remedy? • File a civil suit for cancellation • Plead detailed facts — not vague allegations • Seek interim injunction to protect possession or prevent further transfer Registration records a document.
