What is the difference between a server and a virtual machine 🤯 Guys! A server is a physical machine designed to provide resources, services, or data to other computers over a network. It has its own CPU, memory, storage, and network hardware running directly on the metal. A virtual machine, on the other hand, is a software-based computer that runs on top of a physical server using a hypervisor. The hypervisor divides the physical server’s resources into multiple isolated virtual environments. Each virtual machine behaves like an independent computer with its own operating system. Multiple VMs can run on a single physical server at the same time. This makes resource usage more efficient and flexible. Servers are the hardware foundation, while virtual machines are logical instances built on top of them. In cloud environments, you usually interact with virtual machines, not physical servers. What’s really inside a CPU 👉 Billions of tiny transistors form logic gates, registers, caches, and control units that work together to execute instructions. ⚡ Every click, tap, and line of code is just electrons switching at insane speed. . CPU usage isn’t just a performance stat, it’s a security signal. Sudden spikes, constant high load, or threads burning CPU without real traffic can point to algorithmic abuse, denial-of-service patterns, or hidden processing loops. In long-running C++ daemons, CPU behavior tells a story about how your service is being used or misused. Monitoring per-thread load, sustained usage, and correlation with inputs helps detect attacks before systems fail. #software #computerscience #programming #code

TCP vs UDP🤯 What should I explain next? Write in the comments 🤝 Guys! TCP and UDP are both transport layer protocols used to send data over the internet. TCP is connection-oriented and reliable, meaning it guarantees that packets arrive in order and without loss. UDP is connectionless and faster because it sends data without checking delivery or order. TCP is used for things like web pages and emails, while UDP is common for streaming, gaming, and real-time communication. 🚀 And that’s literally it😁 Follow for more🫡 #softwareengineering #dev #computerscience

🚀 Top 10 Technologies Every Programmer Must Know – Part 1 💻🔥 If you want to become a serious developer, crack big tech, build scalable apps, or create your own startup — these technologies are NOT optional. ❌ They are must-know fundamentals for modern software engineering. 👇 1️⃣ Load Balancers ⚖️🌍 Imagine your website suddenly gets 1 million users at the same time 😳 One server? 💥 Crash. That’s where Load Balancers come in. 🔹 They distribute traffic across multiple servers 🔹 Prevent server overload 🔹 Improve reliability & uptime 🔹 Essential for scalable systems Tools you must know: • HAProxy • AWS Elastic Load Balancer 📌 Without load balancing, scaling is impossible. 2️⃣ CDN (Content Delivery Networks) 🌐⚡ Why does Netflix load fast anywhere in the world? 🤔 Because of CDNs. 🔹 Content is served from the nearest geographical server 🔹 Reduces latency 🔹 Increases website speed 🔹 Improves SEO rankings Popular CDN: 📌 If you care about performance optimization, learn CDN architecture. 3️⃣ Job Queues & Asynchronous Processing 🧠📬 Ever uploaded a photo and continued using the app smoothly? 📸 That’s background processing. 🔹 Handles heavy tasks separately 🔹 Improves user experience 🔹 Makes apps scalable Popular tool: Think of it like a manager assigning tasks efficiently 👨💼 4️⃣ CI/CD Pipelines 🔁🚀 Big companies don’t manually deploy code. Everything is automated. 🔹 Continuous Integration 🔹 Continuous Deployment 🔹 Automated testing 🔹 Faster product delivery Used by companies like: Popular tool: 📌 If you don’t know CI/CD, you’re not industry-ready. 5️⃣ DBMS (Database Management Systems) 🗄️💾 Every app needs memory. That memory is called a Database. 🔹 Stores user data 🔹 Handles authentication 🔹 Manages transactions 🔹 Backbone of backend systems Popular databases: 📌 If you can’t design databases, you can’t build real systems. Hardware errors don’t have to crash the system. With PCI error recovery, the Linux kernel can detect faults, reset the device, and let the driver reinitialize it instead of bringing everything down. Reliability means recovering from failure, not just preventing it. #software #computerscience #programming #hardware
