WHAT IS CURRENT? Electricity works because of Current. Current is the flow of electric charge (electrons) through a conductor like a wire. 🔹 Measured in Ampere (A) 🔹 Measured using an Ammeter 🔹 Current powers devices like bulbs, fans, and machines. 📌 Real Life Examples: • Torch Light → 0.5A • Mobile Charger → 1A – 2A • Washing Machine → 5A – 10A ⚡ Important Formula (Ohm’s Law): I = V / R Where: I = Current V = Voltage R = Resistance If voltage is the pressure, then current is the flow of electricity. Every electrician must clearly understand this basic concept. Follow Fixpro Electrical to learn electrical concepts from zero to advanced. ⚡ CURRENT (I) ⚡ Electric current is the flow of electric charge through a conductor or circuit. 🔹 Unit = Ampere (A) 🔹 Symbol = I 🔹 Measured using Ammeter (connected in series) 🔹 Can be DC (one direction) or AC (changes direction periodically) 💡 Formula: I = Q / t (Charge flow per unit time) ⚡ More current = More heating effect & stronger magnetic field. 📍 Current is the driving force behind every electrical device — from bulbs to motors. #current #electricalengineering #ohmslaw #electricalbasics #ınstagood LearnElectrical @learnelectricaldaily_

Disclaimer: This reel presents a simplified explanation of electric charge for general understanding. Concepts are based on established physics including quantum electrodynamics and the Standard Model, but mathematical and technical details are intentionally omitted for clarity. The goal is conceptual insight, not formal instruction. We use the word charge every day, yet very few people are ever told what it actually means in physics. Charge is not a substance stored inside particles and it is not tiny electricity flowing within matter. It is a property that describes how particles interact with the electromagnetic field that exists everywhere in space. Even something as familiar as a proton only behaves as a single charged object because of the combined charges of the quarks inside it. Nature uses precise values for charge to make atoms stable and matter possible. Once you see charge this way, attraction and repulsion stop being mysterious and start making sense. #PhysicsExplained #QuantumBasics #ParticlePhysics #ScienceForEveryone #Astrinova

Conventional Current Vs. Electron Flow In this video, I describe the differences between conventional current and electron flow and why they flow in different directions. It often confuses a lot of people within electronics, but it's very simple to understand. [Do you know the difference between conventional current and electron flow? Because today I'm gonna teach you these both describe the direction of the electrical current. Let's start with electron flow. So, the electron flow describes the actual flow via electrons from the negative terminal, the positive terminal. Whereas conventional current is actually opposite, and it describes the electrical current flowing from the positive terminal to the negative terminal. So why are they different? This is because we actually discovered electricity in the 1700s, and we didn't discover the electron until 1897. So we have more than 150 years of math that thought the electrical energy went from the positive terminal to the negative the positive terminal to the negative terminal. From what I read, a lot of countries don't want to only teach electron flow because it might be confusing to other people who have been taught the conventional current. Hopefully, this clears up some confusion. I know a lot of people had questions about this, so I hope this was helpful.] • • • • • #electronics #science #stem #womeninstem #engineer #engineering #studygram #electricalengineering #math #physics

EXPLAINATION ⬇️ When you bring your hand close to a high-voltage source, the strong electric field can ionize the surrounding air, creating a conductive path through which current can flow. This process, known as dielectric breakdown, allows electrons to jump across the air gap, sometimes visible as a spark or arc. Additionally, your body acts as a capacitor, and capacitive coupling can cause a displacement current to flow even without direct contact. If the voltage is high enough, this can lead to an electric shock or visible electrical discharge before actual physical connection.
