✅ CHAPTER 1 - INTRODUCTION “Please write the background of the thesis about [your topic] that is relevant to current literature and research gaps.” “Identify the problem statement of [your topic] in 2-3 sentences.” “Write the research objectives based on this problem statement [your problem statement].” “Explain the benefits of this research both theoretically and practically.” “Write the systematic structure of the thesis in a formal and academic style.” ✅CHAPTER 2 - LITERATURE REVIEW “Find theories and concepts relevant to stakeholders in my field (e.., policy makers, industry, government, academics). “Create a framework of thinking from variables [AL, IBI, and [C], complete with logical arguments. “I “Write research hypotheses based on the relationship between these variables [your variables].” ✅CHAPTER 3 - RESEARCH METHODS “Explain the appropriate type of research for [your topic], along with the reasoning.” “Write the data collection method (questionnaire/interview/observation) and whether it is suitable for quantitative/ qualitative research.” #viral #studytips #thesis #student #writing

How to ⬇️ But some numbers first: 275 pages (including 118 pages of supplementary materials and references) 3 systematic literature reviews (crazy I know) 4 original research studies 5 already published papers 2 articles that we will try to publish in the future 60.000 words written (just pure text, excluding references!) I am an enthusiast writer so I didn't dread writing my PhD thesis, but there still were some rules I followed that helped my writing: ✍🏼 A good thesis is a written thesis - I deliberately didn't spend any unnecessary time trying to "perfect" what I wrote. I allowed myself to write imperfect drafts because editing an imperfect draft and building a complete initial version is the most important part. ✍🏼 Seeking feedback early and often - I created fake deadlines for my supervisors to get to me that were earlier than my actual deadlines. I sent my thesis out for feedback chapter by chapter so that we could spot if there was any major flow in how I was building my arguments. I didn't get detailed feedback beyond "no major flows so far" on each chapter, only after it was fully ready, but with this approach I allowed myself to make major mistakes and not freak out in case they happen. ✍🏼 I wrote consistently - since each chapter of my thesis is basically a paper, I had some chapter drafts already written. I have worked on them since the beginning of year 2. I scheduled days when I blocked my calendar off completely and focused on drafting. Over time this built a decent database of ideas, paragraphs, even whole sections that I could stitch together and improve. Save this for future writing reference! 💫 And let me know if I should make a more detailed post about the writing plan, outline, and routine. #writing #writingtips #motivation #academicwriting #literaturereview #review #publish #universitytips #phdjourney #phdtips #gradschool #productivity #publishing #studywithme #PhDstudent #phd #university #academia #academic #science #studymotivation #studyhard #universitystudent #gradschoolproblems

Here’s exactly how I’m writing my Bachelor Thesis with structure and no stress: 1. I started early. Researched topics that genuinely interested me and had enough literature. 2. I focused on preparation. The more time you spend setting the foundation, the easier the writing becomes. 3. I built a source system. Collected and analyzed every source, and noted where I’d use it in my chapters. 4. I created a clear outline. Defined all main points and subtopics before writing the first sentence. 5. I made sure everything connects. Every paragraph links back to the main research question - that’s your red thread. 6. I wrote with clarity, not speed. A calm process creates better work than last-minute pressure. Preparation builds confidence. Confidence builds results. #bachelorthesis #structure #discipline #academicwriting #focus #university #study #studentlife #organization #selfimprovement #growthmindset
