This is a shocking case of anti-Palestinian racist discrimination within the NSW department of education. Wasim El-Haj, a Palestinian Australian teacher and member of Teachers and School Staff for Palestine has faced racist bullying and harassment, threats to his employment and livelihood. All because he wanted to wear his cultural garment the keffiyeh, which is recognised by UNESCO as a cultural item of great significance. He was directed to stop wearing it or face disciplinary action. He made a courageous stand to continue wearing it despite this and has faced constant harassment since. In their bid to suppress Palestinian voices, the pro-Israel Minns government and its education department are persecuting Palestinians simply for existing and practising their culture. This is creating a racist, culturally unsafe environment for students and staff within public schools, leading to deep and lasting psychological harms. The Department must cease this racist anti-Palestinian policy immediately. Please share widely, we need to fight this!

🚫 “Boys and girls” is out. “Changemakers” is in. NSW Teachers Federation is telling teachers to ditch basic greetings — all in the name of inclusivity. But this isn’t just about words. It’s about conditioning. Call kids “changemakers” and suddenly they’re on a moral crusade: ✖️ Men in women’s sports ✖️ Biology blurred with identity ✖️ Feelings over facts This isn’t education — it’s ideology. Kids need stability, not confusion. If they can’t pick a tattoo, they shouldn’t be picking their gender. Let teachers teach — reading, writing, and maths. Not activist agendas funded by taxpayers. Our kids deserve better. And if no one else will speak up — I will. #ProtectOurKids #LetKidsBeKids #EducationNotIdeology #NSWschools #TeachersNotActivists
