Within the concert's documented running order, "Survivor" was preceded by a Salsa Dance Break and followed directly by "Lose My Breath," closing the show. The tour had opened in Hiroshima, Japan on April 9, 2005, covered a European leg across nineteen cities, and was followed by a forty-date North American run beginning July 2 in New Orleans. The North American leg was sponsored by McDonald's Corporation. On June 11, 2005, in Barcelona, Kelly Rowland had stepped to the microphone at the end of the European leg's final show and addressed the audience directly: "This is the last time you would see us on stage as Destiny's Child." Atlanta's Philips Arena, with a capacity of 21,000, was selected as the recording location for the concert film due to its prominence as a major metropolitan venue on the southeastern leg of the North American run, and its alignment with the tour's goal of producing a high-production-value document of their final outing. The resulting DVD, Live in Atlanta, was released on March 28, 2006, by Columbia Records. It was subsequently aired as a television special on BET in the United States, on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom, and on the Dutch channel AT5.
