As part of the ICROP programme activities, Ms Susan Khumalo, Chief Operations Officer of the National Development Agency, visited Women of Change, a Civil Society Organisation proudly funded by the NDA. The visit provided an opportunity to witness firsthand the impactful work being done to support victims of gender-based violence and to strengthen community-based interventions. The dedication of this organisation is truly commendable. The NDA remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting CSOs that contribute to building safer, more resilient communities across South Africa. #ICROP #NDAImpact #BuildingSaferCommunities #GenderBasedViolence #CSOSupport

Change starts with a conversation! 🗣️ Succour Foundation recently sat down with the resilient women leaders of Kuje Area Council, FCT, to discuss our latest Baseline Assessment findings. It was more than just a meeting—it was a deep dive into the realities of GBV. We shared experiences, tackled tough challenges, and mapped out clear paths for reporting cases to ensure justice is served. Huge thanks to WACOL for the funding support that makes this grassroots work possible. The goal is clear: End Gender-Based Violence Now! #BreakingTheSilence #stopabuse #EndGBV #WACOL #womenrights Breaking The Silence: WACOL/Tamar SARC

Stronger Together: Government and Civil Society Unite Against SGBV! 🤝 We were honored to host the Honorable Commissioner for Children, Gender Affairs, and Social Development, Hon. Mrs. Ngozi Enih, at the WACOL headquarters. Our Founding Director, Prof. Joy Ngozi Ezeilo (OON, SAN), highlighted a vital truth: while WACOL continues to lead the charge for human rights, a truly holistic impact is only possible through strong government partnership. 🏛️✨ Hon. Mrs. Enih echoed this sentiment, noting that the State is benefiting from the expertise of organizations like WACOL to meet its objectives. The takeaway? The fight against gender-based violence requires a united front between state and non-state actors. Together, we are building a World, a Nigeria, an Enugu State free from gender based violence and abuse! ✊ #EndSGBV #WACOL #EnuguState #WomenRights #HumanRights #GenderEquality #ActionNow #BreakingTheSilence Breaking The Silence: WACOL/Tamar SARC

From Training to Action: Buhera & Mwenezi Stronger communities start with informed leaders. AWET trained 40 community members as Information Kiosks in Buhera (at Murambinda B Primary School) and in Mwenezi (at Neshuro Growth Point)—equipping them to prevent and respond to GBV, child abuse, and child marriages. Together with the Department of Social Development, the Ministry of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Dev., and the National AIDS Council of Zimbabwe, participants were trained on safeguarding, referral pathways, GBV drivers, and HIV awareness. They are now serving as trusted referral points in their communities—upholding confidentiality and leading awareness efforts. From Buhera to Mwenezi, the message is clear: Not in Our Village. Not in Our Communities. #AWETZimbabwe #BuheraDistrict #MweneziDistrict #EndGBV #ChildProtection #CommunityLedAction #NotInOurVillage #IWD2026
