VV Exports Universal Pvt. Ltd. presents Echoes of Old Bombay – One Stitch at a Time, an embroidered art exhibition by Kailash Poojary, Founder and CEO of VV Exports Universal Pvt. Ltd. The exhibition will be showcased at Baro Market’s Art Deco at 47-A, Khotachi Wadi, Girgaum, Mumbai, from February 13 to March 15. Developed over the course of a year, Echoes of Old Bombay is a body of hand-embroidered works that explores the city’s architectural legacy, cultural memory, and evolving identity. Each artwork is created through a slow, deliberate process that combines research, observation, and meticulous craftsmanship, positioning embroidery as both an artistic and archival medium. The exhibition traces Bombay’s journey from its origins with the Map of Old Mumbai—The Seven Islands, moving through landmarks that define Old Bombay, including Kala Ghoda, Dhobi Ghat, Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Rajabai Tower, Mumba Devi, Bhendi Bazaar, Flora Fountain, Regal Circle with Gateway of India, CST, BMC Building, and Ballard Pier.
