ROADMAP TO ACTUALLY CODING AND BECOMING A DEVELOPER. HERE'S THE REALITY CHECK OF "VIBE CODING". "vibe coding" Is spreading like a virus!!! You all! blindly trust AI to write and build softwares you don't understand. Here is the problem, AI is a multiplier. If you have zero skills, AI multiplies that zero. If you rely entirely on tools to build for you, you aren't an engineer; you're just a spectator. When the code inevitably breaks (and it will), or when the AI hallucinates a solution that doesn't work, you will be completely stuck. You need to know the syntax to even know what to ask for, or how to fix the mess the AI creates. Don't let the tools make you lazy. Build the foundation first so you can actually command the AI, rather than being dependent on it. Here is your roadmap to actually learning the craft!! 1. 🏗 The "Zero to One" Foundations The Odin Project: This is the gold standard. It’s tough, text-based, and forces you to set up your own environment. If you finish this, you are a real dev. theodinproject.com 2. FreeCodeCamp: The best place to get your reps in. “Vibe coding” isn’t as easy as they tell you 🧠 Everyone says vibe coding means anyone can build an app. I’ve been doing it for months. Here’s what they don’t tell you. Developers on Reddit are admitting it — vibe coding is a different kind of hard. Three things nobody warns you about: 1️⃣ You spend more time reading code than writing it — and AI-generated code is messy 2️⃣ You catch bugs differently — the AI writes something that looks right but breaks in ways you wouldn’t expect 3️⃣ You still need to understand architecture — the AI builds rooms, you still need to design the house Vibe coding is real. I build with it every day. But it didn’t make coding easier. It made it different. The skill shifted from writing code → to knowing when the code is wrong. Do you vibe code? What’s the hardest part? 👇 . . . #VibeCoding #AICoding #CodingWithAI #AITools #wilsoncharles

⛔️ Read below my honest thoughts on vibe coding… 1. Vibe coding is fun, fast, and honestly a great way to start building. It helps you ship ideas quickly and stay motivated. But it shouldn’t replace understanding what you’re actually doing. 2. Learn the basic fundamentals of software engineering first. Stuff like how code works, why bugs happen, and how to debug will save you hours when AI gives you something that “almost works.” 3. Understand software architecture and how applications are structured. Frontend and backend aren’t just buzzwords, they’re how real apps stay scalable, secure, and maintainable. 4. AI is a powerful tool, not a shortcut to skip knowledge. The best vibe coders are the ones who can read, fix, and improve what the AI generates. 5. Build with vibes… but grow with fundamentals. That’s how you go from making projects for fun to building products that actually last. final take: I have 11 years as software engineer, It took me 3years to be confident in handling backend & frontend and a 2years more for devops to be called “Fullstack” so if you think as non-technical users you have what it takes to build secured and scalable applications, thats where it gets messy.

You can’t build real apps by just vibe coding. Most tools jump into code and hope for the best. @verdent__ai doesn’t. Instead, It plans first, asks the right questions and then builds exactly what you need. That’s the difference between broken demos and real apps. 💬 Comment “Verdent” to get the link Or check the link in bio Why it’s different: - Planning mode to understand your needs - Multiple AI agents work on different parts at the same time - Rapid edits and changes - Robust backend logic #Verdent #VerdentAI #Vibecoding #AIcoding

Everyone’s talking about vibe coding. Nobody’s telling you how to start. Here’s what actually happens: You watch. You think ‘I should try that.’ You open a tab. You get hit with install this, setup that, learn this first. You close the tab. You forget. The problem isn’t motivation. The process just looks complex. It’s not. I’ve been building with AI for 15 months. Zero coding background. Product designer. If I were starting today — this is exactly where I’d begin. Go to lovable.dev. Describe what you wish existed. Hit build. That’s Day 1. Day 1 of 100 → becoming an AI builder 🔨 Comment BUILD and I’ll DM you 5 starter project ideas 👇
