🚨 Most candidates fail DevOps interviews… not because they don’t know tools, but because they can’t explain them. These DevOps questions are asked in real interviews again and again 👇 • CI/CD pipeline flow (real explanation > theory) • Docker vs Kubernetes (clear use-case matters) • Monitoring + logging (real-world scenarios) If you can explain these with clarity, you’re already ahead of 80% candidates. Save this before your next interview. Day 067 | I failed 5 DevOps interviews before I realized this one secret. Most candidates spend weeks memorizing every single Docker command and Kubernetes flag. Then they get to the interview, get asked a Scenario-Based Question, and freeze. 🥶 Interviewers in 2026 aren't looking for a "Human Documentation." They are looking for a Problem Solver. If you want to move from "Rejected" to "Selected," you need to stop focusing on what the tools do and start focusing on why we use them. SAVE THIS 🚩 The 4 Pillars to Crack Any DevOps Interview: 1️⃣ The "Scenario" Framework 🏗️ When asked "How do you handle a production outage?" don't just say "I check logs." Use the S.T.A.R. method + Technical Logic: Situation (What broke?) Task (Identify the bottleneck) Action (Monitoring -> Mitigation -> Resolution) Result (Post-mortem & Automation to prevent it again) 2️⃣ System Design > Tool Knowledge 🌐 You might know Terraform, but can you explain State Management in a multi-region environment? You might know K8s, but can you explain Zero-Downtime Deployment strategies? Focus on the Architecture. 3️⃣ The Security Mindset (DevSecOps) 🔐 In 2026, security is everyone's job. Always mention Secret Management, Image Scanning, and Least Privilege Access in your answers. It shows you think like a Senior. 4️⃣ Be Honest About Failures 🤝 A "Senior" knows that things break. When asked about a mistake, don't hide it. Explain what went wrong, how you fixed it, and the automation you built to ensure it never happens again. Confidence comes from experience, not perfection. 🚀 CRACK YOUR NEXT INTERVIEW. 212

Kubernetes architecture is built around a control plane that manages the cluster’s state and worker nodes that run the actual workloads. Starting with the control plane components The API Server is the entry point to the cluster. All interactions whether from users kubectl or internal components go through it. It handles request validation authentication and authorization and it is the only component that communicates directly with etcd. etcd is the distributed key value store that holds the entire cluster state. It stores configuration data resource definitions and the current state of workloads. Essentially it is the source of truth for the cluster. The Scheduler is responsible for assigning pods to nodes. When a pod is created without a node the scheduler evaluates available nodes based on resource requirements constraints like affinity or taints and then selects the most suitable node. The Controller Manager runs multiple controllers that continuously monitor the cluster state and ensure it matches the desired state. For example the Deployment controller ensures the specified number of pod replicas are running. If there is a mismatch it takes corrective action. In terms of how they work together a user submits a request to the API Server which stores the desired state in etcd. The Controller Manager checks for differences between desired and current state and the Scheduler assigns workloads to nodes. The system continuously reconciles state to maintain consistency. So overall Kubernetes operates on a declarative model with a control loop that ensures the cluster always moves toward the desired state.
