I’ve eaten at A LOT of table service restaurants at Disney World. Some are good, some are not-so-great, and some are phenomenal! Which are the phenomenal ones?? ⬇️ 5️⃣ Summerhouse on the Lake at Disney Springs. A new addition to the waterfront at Disney Springs, this Southern California inspired spot is worth it for the cookie bar, alone. But don’t leave until you try the Brussels sprouts or fish tacos! 4️⃣ Via Napoli in EPCOT. Who gets pizza at a theme park? Me! This authentic Italian gem is something I look forward to again and again. My brother once told me that you are supposed to judge a pizza by its crust. Well this is a 💯! 3️⃣ The Boathouse at Disney Springs. This elevated surf n’ turf spot on the water is a go to for my family. It is a tried and true that never disappoints. From the bread service to the lobster and burgers, this is a must. 2️⃣ Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort. Most would assume this is my favorite. The views are iconic, the ambience is top notch, and the characters (at breakfast) are great. Breakfast has been hit or miss for me lately, but dinner stands firm as incredible! 1️⃣ California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. This fine dining restaurant with a view has incredible options, and views from the top that overlook Magic Kingdom. Magical. Do you agree or disagree? The Deets on These Eats 👇 Yes! The Hollywood and Vine character dining meal at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, has seasonal themed outfits and always has availability BUT it’s a huge NO for our family.  The No’s - It all comes down to the food quality and choices - the food options were random at best, with no theme or consistency. It felt like these were leftovers from the other Disney restaurants they were just trying to use up. Food Quality - 👎 Amount of Options - 👎 Presentability - 👎 meaning the food was offered in tiny platters on the buffet line, not appetizing and just looked sad for the price you’re paying. Characters - 👍 the positive here was the characters came around A LOT bc no one was in the restaurant 😆. HERE are better alternatives at a Disney park that’s not really known for its food👇 🚘 Sci Fi Diner - Your kids will go crazy for the vibe and theme here but this is best for a family of 3 or more if you don’t want to possibly sit with strangers 🙃.   ✨ Ronto Roasters - grab a hot dog from another galaxy at this Galaxy’s Edge eats for breakfast or lunch.  They close at 3 tho so make sure to get there before then.  🤠 Woody’s Round Up Rodeo BBQ - Toy Story themed and all you care to enjoy! 🎥 Backlot Express or Woody’s Lunch Box - both quick service but hey, I said Hollywood Studios is a little low on excellent food. 🚠 Best Case! Hop on the Skyliner and eat at another Disney World Resort restaurant:  🦀 Caribbean Beach Resort- Sebastian’s Bistro (all you care to enjoy and great tastes!)  🐚 Beach Club Resort - Cape May (character dine for breakfast  What’s your experience at Hollywood and Vine? THE BEST TABLE SERVICE RESTAURANT AT MAGIC KINGDOM 🤫 Jungle Skipper Canteen checks all the boxes for me when it comes to great Disney dining. 🍽️ The Cast Members are amazing, the service is great, the Disney storytelling is unique and fun - perfect for any Disney adult in your life - and of course, the food is delicious! Basically all of the other Magic Kingdom restaurants are all you care to enjoy, or have a prix fixe menu, which is not always what I’m looking for in a day at the Disney Parks! Plus, all the other Magic Kingdom food can feel incredibly monotonous, where Jungle Skipper Canteen is very clearly something totally unique. The Tastes Like Chicken, because it is! And the SECRET MENU cheese bread are two of the dishes I love the most! And if you’re a real Disney adult like me, be sure to ask for some hidden details or a tour on your way to your table! There’s ONE restaurant at Walt Disney World I’d gladly choose over any character dining, every time. 📍Round Up Rodeo, Disney’s Hollywood Studios Why? 🤠All-you-care-to-enjoy, family-style BBQ dining 🤠 The THEMING! The kids can pick a hobby horse to ride in on 🥹 🤠A legit plant-based menu and so many gluten-free options! 🍉 And my daughter? Would go back just for the all-you-care-to-enjoy watermelon. It’s fun. It’s flavorful.
