This video is a popular "jump scare" prank featuring a husband and wife, and it’s definitely a classic example of why those face-altering filters are so terrifying! Here is a breakdown of what happens in the video: The Setup A woman is using a distorting face filter that makes her eyes and mouth look unnaturally large and wide, giving her an eerie, "uncanny valley" appearance. She is hiding in the dark, waiting for her husband to come home, with the caption: "This man has survival instincts!" The Prank The Entrance: The husband walks through the front door, carrying what looks like mail or some papers. The Shock: As soon as he sees her face in the dim light, he lets out a genuine shout of "Oh my gosh, bae!" and immediately turns around and runs back out of the house. The Reaction: He is so spooked that he stays outside on the porch, refusing to come back in. Even as she laughs and asks him why he's running, he stays at a safe distance. Key Highlights The Filter: The humor comes from how creepy the filter looks, especially in a dark hallway. The "Survival Instinct": The husband’s immediate flight response is what makes the video go viral—he didn't even hesitate to leave! The Dialogue: She tries to coax him back in, saying, "Can you turn the light on?" while he remains skeptical from the doorway.

Mel Gibson explained that the disturbing image of Satan holding a grotesque, baby-like figure in The Passion of the Christ was a deliberate symbolic choice rather than a biblical reference. According to Gibson, the scene represents evil distorting what is good and was designed as a twisted inversion of the traditional Madonna and Child imagery. Instead of a loving mother holding an innocent infant, Satan cradles something unnatural and unsettling, emphasizing how evil mocks and corrupts holiness. Gibson intended the moment to feel psychologically disturbing, reflecting Satan’s presence during Christ’s suffering and underscoring the idea that evil can only imitate and pervert, never truly create. #passionofthechrist #melgibson #cinema #movie #horror

Not everyone who smiles at you can carry your life without distorting it. There are things that lose power the moment you over-share them: 1️⃣ Your exact next move Big career shifts. Investments. Relationship decisions. When you announce plans too early, you invite opinions, doubts, and projections. Some people don’t sabotage you — they just leak their fear into you. Build quietly. Reveal results. 2️⃣ Your relationship conflicts in detail Venting feels good in the moment. But once you forgive your partner, your friends rarely do. Now you’re rebuilding love — and they’re still holding a grudge on your behalf. Protect the image of your relationship outside your relationship. 3️⃣ Your financial specifics Income. Savings. Debts. Big purchases. Money changes how people see you — either with envy or hidden judgment. Both distort connection. Privacy preserves respect. 4️⃣ Your deepest insecurity Not everyone deserves access to your softest wound. The wrong person will remember it during competition. The right person earns that level of access slowly. 5️⃣ Your long-term dreams Especially when they’re still fragile. People project their limits onto your future. And doubt spreads quietly. Protect early-stage vision like a seed — not a trophy. 6️⃣ Every time you’re “doing better” than them Success shared with the wrong audience creates silent distance. Not everyone is inspired by your growth. Some feel exposed by it. Here’s the uncomfortable truth: Oversharing feels like connection. But boundaries are what keep respect intact. If this hit, you already know why. 📩 Comment LOYALTY and I’ll send you my guide in DMs on emotional discipline, boundaries, and how to move in silence without losing your edge. Follow — not everything needs an audience.

The Silicone Pad: The large, white, balloon-like objects are soft silicone pads. Their flexibility allows them to wrap around the curved surface of the bowl without distorting the image. Ink Transfer: The machine first presses the pad onto a flat plate (cliché) that has the design engraved and filled with ink. Printing: The pad then moves over the bowl and presses down firmly. Because the pad is squishy, it conforms perfectly to the "curved" shape of the bowl, transferring the ink smoothly. Efficiency: As seen in the video, this method is incredibly fast and allows factories to produce "perfect designs" on thousands of items with consistent quality. Why Use Pad Printing? This technique is the go-to solution for printing on objects that aren't flat. It is commonly used for: Ceramics: Like the bowls and cups shown in the video. Electronics: Printing logos on curved computer mice or phone cases. Medical Devices: Marking scales on syringes or curved surgical tools. Toys: Putting faces on small plastic figures or logos on golf balls.

This tool, called a ring stretcher, doesn’t bend metal — it persuades it. By applying controlled force, it adjusts a ring’s size without distorting its symmetry or leaving a mark. Too much pressure, and the ring cracks. Too little, and it stays flawed. It’s a delicate dance of tension and touch. Craftsmanship like this is where brute force meets surgical finesse.

The first step in helping a patient with tinnitus is careful examination of the ear canal itself. Before any treatment is considered, a skilled chiropractor must assess how open and patent the ear canal is, and whether surrounding structures, particularly the TMJ and cranial bones are compressing or distorting the delicate ear apparatus. In this video I demonstrate how we examine and document the ear canal with photography, allowing us to clearly see whether the canal is narrowed, twisted or under pressure. This simple but powerful diagnostic step helps determine whether the tinnitus may be mechanically driven, often from jaw tension or cranial distortion affecting the ear tube and surrounding nerves. Masterful examination and documentation allows the chiropractor to choose the most precise approach to decompress the ear structures, calm the irritated nerves and restore balance to the system. For chiropractors wanting to confidently diagnose and manage tinnitus cases, join us at our upcoming retreats and modules in New Zealand and Costa Brava, Spain, where we teach these examination skills and adjustment techniques in depth. Become a hero for the many people in your community suffering with tinnitus. We are now taking expressions of interest for the upcoming Tinnitus Mastery course inside the SKOOL community. 📩 DM for the waiting list link. #ChiropracticCare #chiropractor #chiro

Ever felt like your gut feeling was so loud and clear… but then turned out to be wrong? It might be that your baseline state is dysregulated with stress distorting your gut–brain signal. Your gut actually has its own brain - around 500 million neurons, known as the enteric nervous system. It talks to your actual brain through the vagus nerve, constantly updating it on how you feel. When you’re calm and regulated, that connection is clear. You can trust what you feel. But when you’re stuck in fight-or-flight, adrenaline and cortisol scramble the signal. Your gut shifts into protection mode focused on safety instead of real truth. And that’s not a bad thing it’s trying to keep you alive. That fear gut feeling might just save your life one day. But… because your gut brain develops alongside your emotional history, old patterns - trauma, attachment wounds, chronic stress, all shape how it reacts. That’s why someone with unresolved trauma can feel danger in a totally safe situation. The gut is echoing past experience not current reality. So when you want to lead with intuition, not fear try this: Take 10 slow deepbelly breaths. Long, extended. Let your system settle into a parasympathetic state. Then feel back into your intuition. You’ll maybe notice intuition feels different when your body feels safe. If you need more help regulating your system, comment CALM and I’ll DM you my free 7-Day Nervous System Regulation Challenge. 2x guided audios daily, and powerful results 🙏🏼

Whenever I lift a pot off the wheel with just my hands, inevitably the question that comes up, is, “How do you lift pieces off the wheel without it distorting?”, in this short video I’ll do my best to explain precisely what it is that I’m doing. Beyond the technique, there are so many other factors, specifically the type of clay you’re using, how long the pot has taken you to throw and what the shape is itself. So, let’s go through these: the first is the sort of clay you’re using, bodies without any grog, (these are coarse particles of fired ceramic or sand that are in the body), will be stickier and they’ll distort more easily, making them harder to lift off without deforming the vessel. Whereas clays that contain more grog strengthen the body and make it less sticky, the stoneware in this video contains 10% grog, which is enough to give it much more stability. Next, there’s the time it’s taken you to throw a pot. Beginners, naturally, will take much longer to throw a piece and in doing so, often the walls become oversaturated, over-thrown, as I say in the video, this means that even if it contains grog, the walls can be weak as the water has started to degrade the body. If instead a pot is thrown faster, it means it’s less saturated with water and holds its shape better, thus making it easier to lift away. And the last factor is of course the shape of the pot. Complex forms or pieces with delicate galleries, such as jars or teapots or very angular pieces, will simply be more prone to distorting as you lift them off. If you struggle to wrap your hands around the pot to lift it away due to the shape of the vessel, then it’s probably worth throwing it on a batt, this way you simply lift this platform away afterwards with the pot on top of it. Or, if it’s a larger, one-off piece, you can give it a quick blast with a heat-gun or a gas torch. The reason I say this isn’t a good practice for pots such as mugs or bowls, is that in the long term it can add a tremendous amount of time to the making process, say if you’re throwing 30 mugs and you have to dry each with a torch in order to lift them off. I hope you found this video helpful!
