Prambanan Temple is said to be the most beautiful Hindu temple in the world. It is the biggest temple complex in Java with three main temples dedicated to the three great Hindu divinities, Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma, the symbols of Trimurti in Hindu belief. Built in the 9th century, Prambanan consists of two hundred Hindu temple sites.The main entrance of the Prambanan temple compound shows the majestic grounds, which is one of the largest in Southeast Asia. Prambanan temple is 47 meters high and 34 meters wide, which is the tallest of its kind. There were originally around 250 temples in the compound and is a complex with three different zones: outer, middle and inner, which has holds the holiest of temples. The temples also follow the architectural hierarchy similar to Borobudur, which consists of three different sections, from the lowest to holiest of realms. The reliefs of Prambanan tell the story of a Hindu epic and narrative of Ramayana and Bhagavata Purana. Prambanan Sunset Prambanan Temple is equally stunning in the evening, where the towering Hindu spires create a dramatic silhouette against the twilight sky. Where to Watch: The park area on the west side of the complex provides the best angle for photography, allowing you to capture the sun setting directly behind the main temples. Timing: Enter the park by 4:00 PM to explore the ruins before settling in for the sunset, which usually occurs between 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM. Nearby Highlight: Ratu Boko If you are looking for the absolute best sunset view in the area, many travelers head to Ratu Boko, located on a hill just 3 km south of Prambanan. 🇮🇹 I Giganti di Roccia di Nemrut Daği (Turchia). Sulla sommità del Monte Nemrut si trova la tomba-santuario del Re Antioco I di Commagene (costruita probabilmente nel 62 a.C.) che è costituita da un tumulo di pietra frantumata a forma piramidale, alto 50 metri, con alla base tre terrazze.
